Trying to Write like A news reporter

At 16 years of age Alisa was unfortunate to loose her leg at an early age so her decision was to retire from sport.

Her life was changed forever after a catastrophic accident happened. We may call it an accident, but her dreams of competing in the Olympics were shuttered from the moment of the injury.
Poor girl is left with destroyed dreams and a injured heart. What next for her? But further research suggests that the recovery process is going well the help of doctors and physiotherapist has been a success for her development. The doctors have said “it doesn’t necessarily mean that she will be back but she will be more healthier than ever, time can only tell".

The question is simple are we able to see her compete again?  Most properly not but the effort is there from her self and others pushing her to get back in shape. The rehabilitation stage is as far as everyone notices going particularly well that’s my judgment and everyone. Almost everyone wants to see her compete again.

Lets go back in time to her previous experience and the tournaments she has completed successfully to get to the Olympics. A great heroic figure to the sporting world.

Alisa came second in the 2008 world Olympics games. Before this Alisha had a tough time adjusting to a new environment, as it was her first time moving to the UK before her successful regime.
Arriving in England and coming from Spain a place were everyone agrees the weather doesn’t seem to change is a massive jump. The influence of the weather most obvious the British weather made her home sick for 2 weeks and she couldn’t train at the time because of this illness. Luckily she was aloud to migrate back home to see her family and feel back to normal

Alisa did struggle with injuries and was feeling really depressed. Advice came from the media that she needed help and a mentor was the best possible answer. She disagreed with this sort of action but however decided to use her manager as a mentor to help her through her personal life. Asked who she trusted the most the respond was “I love my manager I think his a father figure to me I will only trust him with many of my problems as Im not a fan of traveling back home to see my mum”

Her manager and her had got on really well and worked efficiently in sorting her personal life problems. But her manager was really concerned about her well being and the fact that she wasn’t in the mental or physical condition to compete.

This is mainly my ideas and her Coach Charles Cristian -Alisa Manager had this to say “Ohh Alisa is a great and enthusiastic Athlete how she generates power in her legs her determination is incredible i have to say she’s my motivator, the word give up does not exist to her i think she will be back and I’m waiting that’s all I’m doing.

The international Olympic

The International Olympic Committee has announced plans to allow host nations to stage events in a different country.
The IOC unveiled the plan as part of moves to make it cheaper and easier for countries to bid for Games and to allow new sports to enter the Games quicker than at present.
The IOC presented 40 recommendations for changes to the way the events are run, which include reducing the cost of bidding for Games, aiming to achieve 50 per cent female athletes and the launching of an Olympic TV channel.
Another significant recommendation is to cap the number of athletes and coaches while allowing more sports on the schedule. The latter would have an impact on the number of events currently staged.
IOC president Thomas Bach said in a statement: "These 40 recommendations are like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. When you put them together, a picture emerges that shows the IOC safeguarding the uniqueness of the Olympic Games and strengthening sport in society."
Contribution
The recommendation on reducing costs for bidding includes cutting the number of presentations that are allowed by bidding cities and "providing a significant financial contribution from the IOC".
The IOC also wants to have an "invitation phase" for bidding during which cities will be "advised about the opportunities this new procedure offers".
The recommendations were announced to a round table of athletes, and will be voted on at a meeting of its members in Monaco on December 8 and 9.
New sports introduced to the Games will not have to wait seven years from being approved for their first Olympic appearance, but instead could be brought in for just one Olympics to maximise the Games' reach and attraction.
The first Games to benefit from the changes could Tokyo 2020 with the Japanese city pushing for the inclusion of baseball and softball, after both were taken off the programme following Beijing in 2008.

Organising committees can propose the addition of 'one or more additional events' on the Olympic programme after their city is elected for that one edition of the Games, with the programme becoming more events-based rather than sports-based.

my expriences

I am Fulltime Student studying Sports Journalism and a First year Undergraduate in Welkin Halls. I have chosen to study in Brighton University because I wanted to experience the life of not living at home and moving away. I wanted change and also liked the fact that it had a campus specifically for sport and managements, which is good as you can communicate with people that share common interest. I think I merit this scholarship as I have always tried to make a difference even though I’m not the confident person but I have always tried to get involved and get out of my comfort.

So far into my University life I have tried and have applied to become a Halls Rep, and a First Year Helper for new students, which were all unsuccessful, but I am now a Course Rep with my determination and commitment to preserver to get what I want. Being a Course rep is very hard as well as learning what people really want to develop in their work it has the responsibilities of managing others who cant cope with University life and its workload. I am keen in making changes for example I love writing poems and I want to try and start a (Social Poem Group) and promote that through the year using Student Union.

I have made a huge difference when I was volunteering in Camden as a youth worker. I was also a mentor in my school times and have always tried to engage with students that are facing difficulties either finically like me or other areas as in coping with the life of college or secondary. I am a friendly and kind person who shares ideas in forums and I have been involved in many of them in my community back in my secondary school in Camden trying to make changes such as starting a residential for young people to go which I proposed to business people and this was successful. I have also in my Youth Club  (Somers Town Community Association) called Hampden has enabled me to develop skills such as being confident and also to lead meetings where matters such as crime violent and vandalism in the area has been addressed. This also includes having to promote Football Tournaments in the community where young people can come and express themselves by playing sport as I love sport and enjoy it.

Therefore I have made a positive social impact in peoples lifes.

Liverpool just cant win !

The Liverpool team so far this season haven’t been performing at their best. In 2012-13 Season every Liverpool fan was hoping that their title drought will come to an end which didn’t happen then and I’m sure it won’t happen any time soon. Already rivals Manchester United have powered their way to 20 titles leaving behind Liverpool - who only have 2 major honours. Being so close to winning it last season, fans are wondering what exactly has gone wrong this season.
It’s the lack of goals that they have been suffering massively, someone who can put the ball in the net. Sadly they don’t have that with Mario Balotelli lost in space, there’s no one that can lift Liverpool from their awful start to the season. Brendan Rodgers always insisted that “it wasn’t a gamble buying Mario Balotelli,” but his statement now seems like an uttering of words without any real facts to prove his worth it. In the end it all comes down to the sell of Luis Suarez, which undoubtedly had a positive effect on the amount of goals Liverpool were scoring. They just don’t have the talisman Suarez, who was always a goal threat and a presence on the pitch. With the £75 million they received for the Uruguayan they should have had plenty of money to strengthen the team.
However this wasn’t the case.
Liverpool brought a few players in the summer and there was hope, but sadly the signings they made have had the same effect as the Spurs squad. Tottenham made the mistake of selling Gareth Bale for a world record fee of £83 million and went on misusing the money by bringing ineffective reinforcement that weren’t to the standard of one brilliant player. They suffered by missing the chance of Champions League football, so is the same situation going to happen to Liverpool this season?
The Liverpool players so far are not proving that they are worth the gamble, especially striker Balotelli who has proven to haunt Liverpool rather than excite them. The positive side of all this is that Liverpool brought him for £12 million, which is a plus for a player that has such a bad reputation. In reality Liverpool fans were still expecting the price to come with the goods however Balotelli has not proven himself to be worth a penny. You could understand the fans frustration; it’s the same old Mario Balotelli. Who thought giving him Champions League recognition and putting him in the spotlight would change a man so arrogant as he is. The chances of him achieving his career goals have somewhat gone down the drain; he’s not fooling anyone and he is not mercilessly going to change and get any better.
Everyone knows his body language and his personality isn’t the best but focusing on football, let’s face it, Balotelli is not a clinical goal scorer anymore. Somehow he cannot bring back the form that he once had playing for Manchester City where he looked more interested in football than ever in his career. Balotelli now focuses on entertaining the media rather than entertaining the fans by scoring goals, which is the most frustrating thing ever.
Liverpool’s targets of winning the Premier League has dropped down to them just thinking of staying arms length with teams around them fighting for Champions League football next season. The top four must be their target this season and another target that I must add is the urgent need for them to bring in reinforcement in the January transfer window. This short-term goal must be the means of long-term success if the money gets used wisely.
Maybe there’s some big name player that is going to be brought, maybe Brendan is prepared to gamble to play a more attacking system, whatever it may be it needs to happen sooner rather than later as soon with teams around them putting in good performances and if performances for Liverpool are still poor then there would be questions raised in the media suggesting if Brendan Rodgers is actually the chosen one for Liverpool.
Rumours around Anfield that Wilfred Bony is the likely contender and if the price is right he would be lured to Liverpool. Proven that Bony would be a better buy than Liverpool buying Balotelli-who seems to do nothing than stroll around the pitch and daydream for 90 min- is a good shout and as a Liverpool fan I think Balotelli is the worse signing we have ever made. He’s even worse than Rickie Lambert who don’t get me wrong is a fairly decent player but is not suited for a big club like Liverpool with the history it holds. The pressure has been intense for BalotelIi who is now fighting for a place on the bench rather than the starting eleven.
Brendan Rodgers must think of a solution as games are coming thick and fast. The Christmas period is the turning point of every season. Consistency and determination is what gets teams through this hardcore month of none stop football every week. If Liverpool want to make amends and want to improve their ratio of a win in every three or four games then they have to try at least attempt to bring better striking force.
Liverpool needs to reassess certain things and see where they have gone wrong so far into the season. They have already realised that they have gone wrong with buying Mario Balotelli which is a good start but need to start finding solutions to fix the goal drought that they’re in.
We just have to wait and see if they’re going to improve and be the frightful force they were the previous season. I’m convinced Liverpool will fix their goal drought but how fast they do this depends on the effort and commitment of the players to give absolutely 100 per cent, game in and game out for Brendan Rodgers.

lets be realistic

You all my wonder why i have chosen my title to be football and sports but its simple ! football dominates all other sports you can think of like basketball cricket and so on.
ofcourse i am a fun and love football but theres other elements that im inspired about football. im not limited to loving football and teams playing but im starting to understand the impact of technology playing a major role in peoples life's. in fact theres also been an improvement of football over time since the ancient history were-folk games was treated as a major sport and a brutal conducts of a sport. However this is not my reason of investigation my reason comes down to its diversity of sport change to include all kind of people especially women so they are able to gain the same respect as man do.

let me just get on to football being a biased and manly sport. this is been criticesed by many sporting women leaders thats its wrong.bringing back history in the 18th century women were linked to local marriage customers in highland.what an awful label to give women as martelistic objects for single unmarried man.
